About Complete Catering
My initial dream was to work eventually 5 Star hotels and travel the world working in exotic destinations and I therefore started in Blackpool!!,starting as a chef where my training began.
I was fortunate enough to then move to France where I was enrolled into a French catering college and worked as a chef in a hotel kitchen in Nantes.
After returning to the UK I moved out of the kitchen and into the Front of House where I worked as a Conference & Banqueting manager and after a short stint as a college lecturer teaching Front Office and Food Service, made it to my first 5 Star Hotel, The Dorchester on Park Lane, London. Here I worked in a 2 Michelin Star restaurant, which unfortunately closed 6 months later for a full hotel refurbishment. I was fortunate enough to move down the road to The Four Seasons, Inn on the Park as a Head Waiter. I never worked abroad again!
All this time I had a hankering to set up my own business, as so many people do in the world of Hospitality and initially was looking to set up a Bistro in Loughborough, but then met my now wife and ended up in Doncaster, where Complete Catering Service was born.
I moved to Doncaster and rented a 500 square foot industrial building and with the help of my now father-in-law, turned this into my first kitchens. I placed my Yellow Pages Ad and would go to work every day and wait for the phone to ring! No emails back then! It took a while but hasn’t stopped since.
It’s been an interesting journey full of ups and downs and 25 years later we now own a 5500 square foot Production Kitchens with a team of chefs, Wedding & Events staff and looking to expand the business further.

Although I may not be here at the helm for the next 25 years, plans are in place for Complete Catering Service to continue. With my young management team that is continuing to grow, we shall strive to offer Brides & Grooms, Event Managers & local businesses around Doncaster a truly wonderful service, keeping up with all the current food trends and always offering “more than just the food”
